Birth father: Chaal Riit of Kzin, the commander of the Kzin first war fleet and brother of the Kzin Patriarch Chut Riit.

Birth mother: M'Rander of Cait, former Starfleet Captain now interned in the Ceti V Psychiatric Care Hospital since the Tang Incident. Refer to the file on Lieutenant M. Dammers for more information.

The identity of the father of her offspring (T'Saal and K'Torr) is unknown but is suspected of being either S'Varr or R'Merr, both of Cait, who frequented the drinking establishment as Starfleet Academy cadets at the time K'Lynxyl worked as a dancer while attending the East Africa Technology Institute studying for a degree in nursing.

K'Lynxyl has a terrible temper when slighted, most likely inherited from her Kzin ancestry. She is brutally strong for her size and capable of physical feats far beyond human norms. This makes her a serious threat when angered. Her Cait personality has tested as "extreme" K, hence the prefix to her name, making her fiercely overprotective of those close to her to the point of being controlling.

It is recommended, if possible, she be steered in the direction of a career in humanoid protection, but only insofar as working with female dignitaries as she has a history of trying to seduce any "alpha" type male she meets.

Her half brother, Maarcuz Riit is under observation by Starfleet Intelligence. It is suspected that K'Lynxyl knows of many of Riit's activities and any information extraction short of civil rights violations is encouraged.
